Oscar Wilde is quoted in many places and his thought is usually great, but when the proper context and era are not included it can be outlandish and as weird as he would appear in a good Baptist Evangelical meeting. That being true you can wonder why those are the born again conspiracy nuts who quote him in the raving which passes for truth on such web sites as they call Truther.

Oscar, as always, was right on the money with his observation of the 'hunting' class - "the unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable".

I suppose it is good that people watch videos like Royal Babylon and get their entertainment but with these people not actually reading or studying anything - what we get would soon be worse than slavery.

I suppose his intellectualism and freedom loving nature and wit could win over even the dumbest of rocks or believers in things they accept without evidence. But here we have him supporting the insight of Goethe a father of the Bavarian Illuminati in a speech which includes an awareness of how revolution created a vacuum after removal of the monarchs and lead quickly back to a new more powerful controlling scholasticism and governance represented by Napoleon. The Millennium issue of The Economist correctly observed it was the advent of Napoleon's 'standing armies' which created our present cruel state of world affairs.

That does not mean Napoleon's legacy of a revamped legal system and regionalized government had no merit - it definitely was a step forward, but would Wilde prefer a world of armed insurrection and synarchy powered by militarists to a world which artists and intellectuals offered a way forward, I doubt he would.

    "The English Renaissance of Art

AMONG the many debts which we owe to the supreme aesthetic faculty of Goethe is that he was the first to teach us to define beauty in terms the most concrete possible, to realise it, I mean, always in its special manifestations. So, in the lecture which I have the
honour to deliver before you, I will not try to give you any abstract definition of beauty - any such universal formula for it as was sought for by the philosophy of the eighteenth century - still less to communicate to you that which in its essence is incommunicable, the virtue by which a particular picture or poem affects us with a unique and special joy; but rather to point out to you the general ideas which characterise the great English Renaissance of Art in this century, to discover their source, as far as that is possible, and to estimate their future as far as that is possible.

I call it our English Renaissance because it is indeed a sort of new birth of the spirit of man, like the great Italian Renaissance
of the fifteenth century, in its desire for a more gracious and comely way of life, its passion for physical beauty, its exclusive
attention to form, its seeking for new subjects for poetry, new forms of art, new intellectual and imaginative enjoyments: and I call it our romantic movement because it is our most recent expression of beauty."

Yes, the Enlightenment Experiment fostered in the American and French Revolutions was a lot like the Renaissance and the same people were involved - the Stuart Royal Society. There are many secret societies associated with them, and their are people covering their asses and making contingency plans as well. Goethe and the Rothschilds were there at William of Hesse's castle along with the even more Illuminated St. Germain who is a royal and a de Medicis I could liken to the King-Maker Catherine de Medicis, who was a member of the Alumbrados.

Alumbrados is translated as Illuminati or enlightened Brotherhood. Are all these elites a force to fear for the more than five millennia I trace them working together? Did she know why their attempt to help the Cathars failed?

But returning to dear Oscar we find he is likened to another great scholar of Illuminism in the Goethe to Carlyle lineage some have likened to Nazism. This man directly controlled what became the Rhodes Committees and scholarships. A man as large as life in the annals of our present governance - Cecil Rhodes. But how many were involved in making Rhodes what he was other than his Professor John Ruskin. You also must question whether his Committees and the likes of the Council on Foreign Relations or Tri-Lateralists are all bad. If you decide they are bad you must be prepared with a plan for something better than these wise people and studious workers came up with to take us out of the Dark Ages the born agains would love us to be thrown backwards into.

""In all unimportant matters, style, not sincerity, is the essential. In all important matters, style, not sincerity, is the essential." -Oscar Wilde, in The Chameleon

Looking past the often hyperbolic and flippant tone of Oscar Wilde's aesthetic theories in "The Decay of Lying" (text), one finds that many of them copy or closely resemble those of John Ruskin. This similarity presents a peculiar challenge: how could Ruskin, so closely associated with the Pre-Raphaelites and concerned with society's relation to art, influence an aesthetic movement that attempted to divorce art from anything but itself? Looking purely at the content of Wilde's aesthetic theories, one cannot find any practical departure from Ruskin. But if one measures Wilde's "The Decay of Lying" by its form and technique, Wilde indeed presents a "new aestheticism": the virtue of his wit and style trump concerns over the originality of his ideas. Examining Ruskin, Wilde and aestheticism in terms of the sincerity of their dialogue poses important implications for discussions of the artists associated with each thinker. The Pre-Raphaelites Brotherhood associated with Ruskin reflects his sincerity in their beliefs and works. Similarly, Wilde helped to foster the self-aware pursuit of shock and escape from bourgeois standards that characterized so many Aesthetes and Decadents."

Although the Czar did not become a convert to Tibetan Lama designs promoted by Gurdjieff he did support someone who was to become a major part of Gurdjieff's schools.

    "Thomas de Hartmann

thomas de hartmann 1917 was to be traumatic for Russian aristocrats - the Revolution would kill many, drive survivors from their homes, deprive them of their fortunes and titles. Yet Thomas and Olga de Hartmann quite willingly gave up their aristocratic status for quite another kind of revolution: the inner insurrection, wherein the true Self overthrows the false self. Thomas de Hartmann was born to privilege on his family′s estate, near Kiev in the Ukraine. A composer who was later to collaborate with Gurdjieff in the composition of sacred music, he graduated from the St. Petersburg conservatory, under the direction of Rimsky-Korsakov, in 1903, as well as graduating from military school. In 1906 de Hartmann married Olga Arkadievna de Schumacher, the daughter of a high government official. In 1907 Thomas′s ballet "The Scarlet Flower" was performed by the Imperial Opera with Nijinsky in the cast; in the audience was the Tsar himself. Impressed, the Tsar authorized Thomas de Hartmann′s release from active service in the Guards so that he could concentrate on composition. Both Thomas and Olga de Hartmann had deep family connections in Germany, and from 1908 to 1912 they lived primarily in Munich, where Thomas studied with Wagner′s student Felix Mottl, director of the Munich Opera. There Thomas came into contact with the youthful energies of modern art, taking in the first great exhibition of van Gogh, Gauguin, and Cezanne and becoming close friends with the painter Kandinsky. In Munich the de Hartmanns brought into focus an interest that had always been hovering in the background for both of them: the esoteric and spirituality. They began with Blavatsky′s doctrine and later had an intriguing experience with spiritualism, but they felt no indubitable quality of realness in the usual theosophical suspects.

Then Thomas′s friend Andrei Zakharoff, a mathematician, told them about a startling new teaching, and in due course he introduced first Thomas and then Olga to G. I. Gurdjieff.
"Mr. Gurdjieff," Olga wrote, in ′Our Life with Mr. Gurdjieff′, "was an unknown person, a mystery. Nobody knew about his teaching, nobody knew his origin or why he appeared in Moscow and St. Petersburg."
They followed this mystery for the next twelve years, through the social minefield of the Russian Revolution; into and out of poverty several times; and through many adventures in Armenia, Turkey, Europe, and America.

It is not likely that Albert Pike was the man who created what this site says, no way - no how; I know!

In the case of Pike's vision it might well have been a lie by a Cardinal Rodriguez. Why (?), to blame some other players for things his group intended to bring about or foster. The same can be said about Hitler but not, I think, those of Napoleon in the Great Pyramid or Cecil Rhodes in what became Rhodesia.

    "Pike's Letter to Mazzini

It is a commonly believed fallacy that for a short time, the Pike letter to Mazzini was on display in the British Museum Library in London, and it was copied by William Guy Carr, former Intelligence Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy. The British Library has confirmed in writing to me that such a document has never been in their possession. Furthermore, in Carr's book, Satan, Prince of this World, {Sure, "the debil made 'em do it."} Carr includes the following footnote:

"The Keeper of Manuscripts recently informed the author that this letter is NOT catalogued in the British Museum Library. It seems strange that a man of Cardinal Rodriguez's knowledge should have said that it WAS in 1925". [quote]

It appears that Carr learned about this letter from Cardinal Caro y Rodriguez of Santiago, Chile, who wrote The Mystery of Freemasonry Unveiled.

To date, no conclusive proof exists to show that this letter was ever written. Nevertheless, the letter is widely quoted and the topic of much discussion.

Following are apparently extracts of the letter, showing how Three World Wars have been planned for many generations.

"The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the "agentur" (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions." 2

    Students of history will recognize that the political alliances of England on one side and Germany on the other, forged between 1871 and 1898 by Otto von Bismarck, co-conspirator of Albert Pike, were instrumental in bringing about the First World War. {Bismarck was astute and he knew the hand of the Rothschilds in this.}

"The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm." 3

After this Second World War, Communism was made strong enough to begin taking over weaker governments. In 1945, at the Potsdam Conference between Truman, Churchill, and Stalin, a large portion of Europe was simply handed over to Russia, and on the other side of the world, the aftermath of the war with Japan helped to sweep the tide of Communism into China.

    (Readers who argue that the terms Nazism and Zionism were not known in 1871 should remember that the Illuminati invented both these movements. In addition, Communism as an ideology, and as a coined phrase, originates in France during the Revolution. In 1785, Restif coined the phrase four years before revolution broke out. Restif and Babeuf, in turn, were influenced by Rousseau - as was the most famous conspirator of them all, Adam Weishaupt.) {Famous yes, and therefore not the decision maker. Other groups including the Illumine of Benedictine monks like Pernety and even this Mazzini or later P2 etc., are also just window dressing.}

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time." 4

Since the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, 2001, world events, and in particular in the Middle East, show a growing unrest and instability between Modern Zionism and the Arabic World. This is completely in line with the call for a Third World War to be fought between the two, and their allies on both sides. This Third World War is still to come, and recent events show us that it is not far off."

They forgot the Cold War including Korea and Vietnam and you could also say another World War I will call WWIV called the War on Terra by Bushes and shrubs.

We have only briefly touched upon truly ancient Russian people who are called many names by many people in different eras. I have used words like German in the era some came to re-assimilate themselves into their former areas of influence. When I was young I used to tell Polish jokes including how they engineered their tanks with three reverse gears and one forward gear (in case of a rear attack). The academics are not a whole lot better and they continue to maintain national identities and an overall agenda of Empire. This post applies to almost every culture of Europe and Asia as well as Egypt. It is of importance to all their religions and a theory called the Cradle of Civilization which we now know for what it was.

To give further credence to the movement of culture from north to south and the exchanges or trade referred to by Wayland-Barber and Clyde Winters we have older scholarship observing the Hatti (Stuart historians claim they are) or Hyksos Hittite people and their thunder god you probably can relate with the Norse and the Valkyrie of Wagner. The era of Arjuna was not when we were told - it was a myth telling of these exchanges going back at least two millennia before 1500BCE.

WHEN the Hammurabi Dynasty, like the Twelfth Dynasty of Egypt, is found to be suffering languid decline, the gaps in the dulled historical records are filled with the echoes of the thunder god, whose hammer beating resounds among the northern mountains. As this deity comes each year in Western Asia when vegetation has withered and after fruits have dropped from trees, bringing tempests and black rainclouds to issue in a new season of growth and fresh activity, so he descended from the hills in the second millennium before the Christian era as the battle lord of invaders and the stormy herald of a new age which was to dawn upon the ancient world.

He was the war god of the Hittites as well as of the northern Amorites, the Mitannians, and the Kassites; and he led the Aryans from the Iranian steppes towards the verdurous valley of the Punjab. His worshippers engraved his image with grateful hands on the beetling cliffs of Cappadocian chasms in Asia Minor, where his sway was steadfast and pre-eminent for long centuries. In one locality he appears mounted on a bull wearing a fringed and belted tunic with short sleeves, a conical helmet, and upturned shoes, while he grasps in one hand the lightning symbol, and in the other a triangular bow resting on his right shoulder. In another locality he is the bringer of grapes and barley sheaves. But his most familiar form is the bearded and thick-set mountaineer, armed with a ponderous thunder hammer, a flashing trident, and a long two-edged sword with a hemispherical knob on the hilt, which dangles from his belt, while an antelope or goat wearing a pointed tiara prances beside him. This deity is identical with bluff, impetuous Thor of northern Europe, Indra of the Himalayas, Tarku of Phrygia, and Teshup or Teshub of Armenia and northern Mesopotamia, Sandan, the Hercules of Cilicia, Adad or Hadad of Amurru and Assyria, and Ramman, who at an early period penetrated Akkad and Sumer in various forms. His Hittite name is uncertain, but in the time of Rameses II he was identified with Sutekh (Set). He passed into southern Europe as Zeus, and became "the lord" of the deities of the Ægean and Crete.

The Hittites who entered Babylon about 1800 B.C., and overthrew the last king of the Hammurabi Dynasty, may have been plundering raiders, like the European Gauls of a later age, or a well-organized force of a strong, consolidated power, which endured for a period of uncertain duration. They were probably the latter, for although they carried off Merodach and Zerpanitum, these idols were not thrust into the melting pot, but retained apparently for political reasons.

These early Hittites are "a people of the mist". More than once in ancient history casual reference is made to them; but on most of these occasions they soon vanish suddenly behind their northern mountains. The explanation appears to be that at various periods great leaders arose who were able to weld together the various tribes, and make their presence felt in Western Asia. But when once the organization broke down, either on account of internal rivalries or the influence of an outside power, they lapsed back again into a state of political insignificance in the affairs of the ancient world. It is possible that about 1800 B.C. the Hittite confederacy was controlled by an ambitious king who had dreams of a great empire, and was accordingly pursuing a career of conquest.

Judging from what we know of the northern worshippers of the hammer god in later times, it would appear that when they were referred to as the Hatti or Khatti, the tribe of that name was the dominating power in Asia Minor and north Syria. The Hatti are usually identified with the broad-headed mountaineers of Alpine or Armenoid type--the ancestors of the modern Armenians. Their ancient capital was at Boghaz-Kai, the site of Pteria, which was destroyed, according to the Greeks, by Crœsus, the last King of Lydia, in the sixth century B.C. It was strongly situated in an excellent pastoral district on the high, breezy plateau of Cappadocia, surrounded by high mountains, and approached through narrow river gorges, which in winter were blocked with snow.

Hittite civilization was of great antiquity. Excavations which have been conducted at an undisturbed artificial mound at Sakje-Geuzi have revealed evidences of a continuous culture which began to flourish before 3000 B.C. 1 In one of the lower layers occurred that particular type of Neolithic yellow-painted pottery, with black geometric designs, which resembles other specimens of painted fabrics found in Turkestan by the Pumpelly expedition; in Susa, the capital of Elam, and its vicinity, by De Morgan; in the Balkan peninsula by Schliemann; in a First Dynasty tomb at Abydos in Egypt by Petrie; and in the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age (Minoan) strata of Crete by Evans. It may be that these interesting relics were connected with the prehistoric drift westward of the broad-headed pastoral peoples who ultimately formed the Hittite military aristocracy.

According to Professor Elliot Smith, broad-headed aliens from Asia Minor first reached Egypt at the dawn of history. There they blended with the indigenous tribes of the Mediterranean or Brown Race. A mesocephalic skull then became common. It is referred to as the Giza type, and has been traced by Professor Elliot Smith from Egypt to the Punjab, but not farther into India. 2"
