    Tallest skyscraper in the world

    Burj Khalifa, formerly known as Burj Dubai, is the tallest skyscraper in the world. Standing at a height of 828 meters (2,717 feet), it is also the tallest man-made structure ever built.

    most of the workers were from south asia, 7,500 skilled workers were employed at the construction site.
    skilled carpenters at the site earned 4.34 a day, and labourers earned 2.84 ,According to a BBC investigation.

    It is impressive but no where near as important as the canal being built through Costa Rica. The building of structures that are not dovetailed to nature and are a testimony to ego (like this) have a less than worthwhile purpose. Bucky Fuller (designer of the nature efficient Geodesic dome) said the ancients built biodegradable structures in tune with nature, They were often located on Centerpoints of the Earth Energy Grid. All Mayans urban centers were so situated. LOVE and Harmony was shared in every way - according to Thomas Merton.
